The staff are extremely helpful and speak excellent English, ensuring that you feel welcomed and supported throughout your visit. The owners and staff are very nice, you feel like home right away. The location is up in the mountains so it takes a while to drive there from the highway, but we could explore the Tuscany countryside from Monti very easily with own car (hotel has their own parking area too). Monti is a cosy place, especially for the families with children: nice garden with pool. The hotel has an own small restaurant and the food is excellent, we recommend it warmly. Hopefully we can return in the summer when the weather is a bit warmer than in March.
It is an old building, so the noise insulation is not good: do not forget your ear plugs, otherwise you'll hear everything from the other rooms and corridor.

Enjoyable food & friendly service
The hotel had a great variety of food, with a decent quality of ingredients and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Despite some noise from the locals in the area, the location of the hotel was very convenient as it was near to some good shops and nice restaurants. They had a very knowledgeable receptionist who was always available to help with any queries we had.
The beds in the rooms were extremely uncomfortable, and the slow and patchy Wi-Fi made it hard to work during our business trip. The room was also too small for two people, with inadequate facilities such as only one plug socket.

The management staff was excellent and we really felt their personal interest in our comfort. The food was excellent with your typical European breakfast buffet, and a top-notch chef to prepare evening meals.

Very friendly and smiling owners and staff at the hotel, a beautiful area around and easy to drive to other places in Toscana. We enjoyed the fine combination of relaxing in the pool area and the possibility of driving to see some other places. We felt pretty much at home and enjoyed the good food. We should like to come back to this hotel and also to see more in the area.

The attention to detail was impressive, with a well-kept garden and large pool providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the location on top of a hill offered stunning views and added to the charm of the hotel.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and hotel facilities. The staff members were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with a stunning garden filled with plenty of sun loungers. It was also convenient to explore the surrounding area, including the charming Italian villages in Montalbano and the nearby mountains. The breakfast was satisfying and the parking was ample.
Nothing, all aspects were excellent.

The location. Friendly and helpful manageress (Diana).
Limited dinner menu - no choice - set menu - needed to be booked in the morning if staying for dinner. No dinner available on Friday evening - restaurant closed and we were not informed by staff - another guest told us. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Beds/pillows uncomfortable. No soap dishes in shower. Shower cubicle far too small. Poor quality toilet accessories - toilet roll/ soaps. On our last night we arrived back at 9.05pm to find hotel in darkness and locked. Hotel needs a make over.
